HAPPY 4/20, ladies&gents.
I myself did not have the opportunity to celebrate, and was therefore disappointed.
My original plans were pretty amazing, exploring all of Atlanta while blazed on the MARTA bus, but they wound up failing, predictably. I think I'll keep this post short.
So I avidly read my fresh issue of NYLON, which tends to improve my mood. It didn't. The annual "Young Hollywood" issue always seem so pretentious and fame-hungry. And the every page seemed to be devoted to the strange institution we call "The Valley" and the bubble-head sluts who inhabit it. Oh, and there were a few Harajuku pages, which irked me a bit as well. The fascination seems so outdated now. But hey, at least the cover wasn't Lindsay Lohan, like last month. She looked like a real coke whore's coke whore. In polka dot silk harem pants, no less. Wanted to smear my hypothetical burrito all over her protruding skull. Which calls to mind a random observation, to plagiarize Lupita, high school mandated lunches of microwave burritos are too few and far between. I bet those damned things would be the best munchies ever if available.
One last thing: I have FAR too many friends who have yet to see Easy Rider.
This is a criminal offense. Consider myself appalled.
The video sucks, but you get the idea. It's also redubbed in French. Just watch the whole movie in a good format. Anyways, it makes me excited for my future, art like that. Peace&love on this April 20th.
